Project Comment

What are we?
We are a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles

What is our objective?
To recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.

How can I help?

Hello Loving, [n.nnnnn] awesome deviants that are still around although I have horribly neglected DEVart as we all tend to do from time to time. The past few months has been filled with Tons of stuff that has kept me busy and sadly away from being behind the camera. I got a mil cumulative score in like 45 min. today on Mario Bros 3! <3 wo0t.

Omuguhhhh <3 my first Daily deviation <3333 : Spread Eagle

dude its been an insanely lazy/awesome day of answering allll these messages.. 800+ so far x.x. wtf. Dev Art keeps telling me I'm a spammer; so I gotta take a break before they ban me or some crazy stuff hah. Thank you

The Halloween Season Was fulled with Zombie Manor <3 Haunted House near Arlington in Dallas. It is run by a company called Eerie Industries that specializes in professional scare tactics and horror special effects from scenery to costumes and makeup. This was the first year they were finally able to open their own haunted house , [ as well as working the red carpet event for Zombieland! ] - when in previous years they have been hired by many haunted houses in the state of Texas to work the lines on their busiest nights. I've known these guys for a few years and we were thrilled to be invited to spin fire at their haunt any night of the season. We went and spun a few weekends and spectacularly some nights were so busy we had no room to spin so we just became Zombies in a spectacularly creepy haunted house. <3 The Halloween spirit was spectacular and kept me busy for a month and half.

you're gonna need that double tap.
super faded x.xxx but yes.

We shot a video project with a Senior film student named Lola from the Art Institute of Dallas. We found an add on craigslist for fire performers and took the bail skeptically since, most things on craigslist are a bust. Luckily, she turned out to be one hundred percent professional and totally down to earth and easy to work with. We had horrible luck with weather for several weeks and an epic search around the city to find a location that was both amazing and fire friendly. She did a bit of research and booked us the Fort Worth water gardens which turned out to be absolutely mind blowing and it's incredible that they gave her the license for it.

The First Location

Was a bit intimidating at 8:00 in the evening in the dark with very little lighting. We shot at various levels within the structure on several platforms and the rushing water made the whole experience extremely different from anything we have ever done before. For one, we couldn't hear each other, the director, our safety, or the camera operator. We had to be extremely cautious - but I think everyone knew the product would be amazing. After an hour of straight shooting there we decided to switch gears and take a breather.

Second Location

We took a short hike to this absolutely gorgeous Serenity pool, below ground, surrounded by draping trees and elegant lighting. Here we did some partner work and mike worked with his huge snakes [ seen in "spread eagle" ]. It was a wonderful end to the evening. I'm super excited to see how amazing the video turns out when it is finished.

I will get it posted somewhere online for viewing once its done. Lovely Lola, graciously offered to make us our own promo in addition to her project.

----------------------------------
I would still like to start a crazy new project soon o.O.. but It's on hold because I have not received my part back from the person who started it so .. details soon.

The Names Kayla Roschelle. [ Zombie ]. I'm a twenty one year old artistic entrepreneur from the Dallas Texas Area.

I do a bit of amateur modeling. [I have a bit of stock work in my gallery] I'm looking for other models and photographers to Collaborate with. I will travel, ^.-

I was a theatre major at the University of Texas at Arlington. I should be a senior this year, but as we all tend to do [ or should do every now and then ] I decided to take a little time and do some soul searching. Find out my purpose; what I want and what direction I want to head in. Oh yes, and to pay back my school loans so I don't get stuck with a huge balloon payment at the end.

I am a professional fire performer. I spin poi, breath fire, And double Staff. I Am working on becoming a licensed performer. Fire and skill toys are an incredibly huge part of my life and I do it anywhere anytime. If you live close and you'd like to learn, shoot, or have us perform at your venue or event please don't be shy to contact me and chat me up. I would love to give some photographers the chance to shoot something a little bit different. Please contact me if you are interested in myself or any of the performers and models on my site to discuss details.

Also, I am an experimental photographer. [ for the time being. ]Mostly I shoot Fire related things; simply because it's such a huge part of my life that its where I shoot the most. I would really love to work with some model's or just people interested in having some fun with some crazy ideas and a camera. I Am willing to do portraits, senior pictures, artistic stuff, black and white's, artistic nudes, bedroom [18 + ], but I'd really love to do some insane artistic shoots. I'll do anything you are comfortable with or could possibly dream up. I have lots of great idea's and locations for photo shoots around the DFW area and am always open to other suggestions [ including some travel ]. If you are interested in any of the following and would like to work with me or any of the performers or models on my site; please feel free to contact me about them; or other idea's you may have to discuss the details. If you would like edited prints; we can discuss rates at that time. I will give all people that I shoot a full TFP [time for proofs] unedited copy of all images - at this time.

Also, I love to Critique all Art. Feel Free to read some. I feel that I am accurate and fair but that doesn't mean what I say is everyone's opinion. If you would like a real critique you need to go enable that choice in edit deviation and leave a comment or note on my site. When I get the time I promise I will get back to you in due time. In the message you must post at least 3 thumbs of deviations you want critiques on I will pick at least one maybe more to give you a long meaningful critique. You must follow my rules with at least 3 thumbs or I may ignore you depending on if i like your art in the little that I see. Enjoy!

Also, Please remember to check out my artist features as well as the other deviant art features I will periodically post on my page <3
